Final Meeting Before Election Day

It’s time for our last meeting before the historic election of 2020. We are meeting on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:00 PM at the Monroe Parks and Recreation Building on Francis Ave. in Monroe.

We will be planning for signage placement at each polling station and distributing signs for that. We will also be planning for poll observers and information about what to do should issues arise on polling day.

Please try to attend if you wish to volunteer to help put out Election Day signs. Given the current rise in Covid cases we will be keeping the meeting to a minimum, and, as usual, following proper protocols and providing hand sanitizer and wipes.

Please try to come and volunteer to help with these signs.  We have 11 precincts in this county to cover so all hands are welcome.

On another note, The Betts campaign is providing us with 15 large 4×3 ft signs. these are one-sided, but since we will have 15 we can use 2 per site. Please contact me if you would like to place a sign. I am currently looking into whether we could use these at polling locations.

We are all on pins and needles, to be polite about it, and that’s understandable. So please come out next Tuesday and join us, just for a short bit, and let’s feel the camaraderie and plan for this last sprint to the finish.

We vote, we win!
